A beautifully toned bracteate of Friedrich II

GERMANY. Ulm (Königliche Münzstätte). Friedrich II, 1215-1250. Bracteate (Silver, 21 mm, 0.39 g). Crowned facing bust with wing to left, raising right hand in benediction; all within border of alternating crosses and squares. Rev. Incuse of obverse. Bonhoff 1866. Löbbecke 1009. Very attractively toned. Minor edge crack, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
